Cat sitting in Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia
Cat sitting in your home.

We have used their services while out of town to care for our cat who was recently diagnosed with diabetes and requires daily medication. … Knowing that our cat is getting excellent care … has given us peace of mind that we never had with contractor-based petsitting services (e.g. Rover).
We have had a wonderful experience with using Capital Petsitters to take care of our two cats. … She has even gotten our unfriendly cat to warm up to her (this is a huge feat).
Best service ever!!! Super easy, responsive, and professional. Terrific communication. Super job and care of my two fussy cats. I came home to contented and healthy girls. Thanks so much
Common questions
How many visits a day does my cat need?
As many as your cat needs, for as long as you're away. Tell us your cat's routine when you register and we'll set the schedule around it.
My cat hides from strangers. Is that a problem?
No. A shy cat gets quiet, careful care and no stress. Food, water and the litter box are always taken care of, and we don't force contact.
Can you give my cat medication?
Yes, at any visit — oral medication, injections and subcutaneous fluids, including insulin. Oral medication is $6; injections and fluids are $13.
Ready to start?
Register, and we'll be in touch to arrange a meet-and-greet. Your sitter meets your cat before the first visit.
