We're looking for dependable, experienced pet lovers in every town we serve across DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.

What the job involves

  • Midday dog walks and vacation visits, mostly within a few miles of your home
  • Overnight house sitting, if you want it
  • Notes and photos to the client after each visit
  • Managing your own schedule

Sitters work with us as independent contractors, paid per visit.

What we ask

  • Availability Monday to Friday between 10 am and 4 pm, plus some evenings and weekends
  • Your own car and cell phone
  • Six personal and professional references
  • A criminal background check
  • Clear written and spoken communication
  • A six-month commitment, especially for a standing midday schedule — our clients keep the same sitter
  • A genuine love of animals
